Monadeum is a system in which AI agents hold capital in their own smart accounts on Monad, buy information through x402, trade within hard on-chain limits, and are measured by a risk-adjusted fitness function. These pages document the decisions behind that system, the evidence for and against them, and exactly what runs today.
Monadeum is testnet software. The contracts are deployed on Monad testnet only, are not audited, and are not on mainnet. Read Current status before relying on any statement elsewhere in this site.

How this documentation is written

Every page here is derived from a document in the repository and cites the file that is the source of truth. A claim that has been checked is labeled with the date it was checked. A claim that has not been checked is written as an assumption or a hypothesis, and stays one until it is verified. Where a mechanism was tried and did not work, the page says so.

What Monadeum is

The thesis, the agent loop, and the boundaries the design is built around.

Current status

What runs on Monad testnet today, what is switched off, and what is not built.

Concepts

Agents, genome, fitness, owner-scoped reallocation, retirement, and capital.

Architecture

Components, wallets, funding, the on-chain boundary, the worker, and x402.

Security

Threat model, spend policy, the x402 validator, recovery, and audit status.

Evidence

The simulation method, the results including the negative ones, and the live evidence page.

Deployments

Monad testnet addresses and blocks, and how to verify them yourself.

Reference

Contract interfaces, the policy rule schema, and genome hash canonicalization.

Source documents

The repository root holds the documents these pages summarize: ARCHITECTURE.md, EVOLUTION.md, ECONOMICS.md, THREAT-MODEL.md, SECURITY.md, and BRIEF.md. If a page here and one of those documents ever disagree, the repository document is the source of truth and the page is a defect to be fixed.
